WARDOGS Pre-Order, Closed Beta History & Price (2026)
WARDOGS launches in Steam Early Access on September 11, 2026. The US base price is $39.99 and the Supporter Edition is $49.99, with regional pricing elsewhere. The August 21-23 Closed Beta has ended; pre-purchase guaranteed access to that test, while Steam Playtest requests offered a limited random chance.
WARDOGS release date
The live Steam product page lists September 11, 2026 as the WARDOGS Early Access release date. This launch is for Windows PC through Steam.
BULKHEAD currently estimates roughly one to two years in Early Access. The studio says the timing can change as it expands content, improves systems and responds to player feedback.
WARDOGS price and editions
The standard US pre-purchase price is $39.99. The US Supporter Edition is $49.99 and combines the base game with an optional cosmetic Supporter Pack. Steam applies regional currencies and pricing, so the amount shown in your store can differ.
The developers say Early Access is priced below the intended full-release price and may become more expensive as content and polish are added. WARDOGS is not advertised as free to play.
How Closed Beta access worked
The Closed Beta ran from August 21-23, 2026, and has now ended. Pre-purchasing on Steam guaranteed access to that test. Players who did not pre-purchase could request access through the native Steam Playtest button for a limited random chance to join.
The old community signup is not a current source of external Steam beta keys. Use the Steam account that made the purchase or request, and avoid unofficial key sellers.
What is in the Supporter Edition?
The optional Supporter Pack includes three starter-weapon camos, a Littlebird helicopter camo, a supporter scoreboard icon that can be hidden, and grenade and helmet bobbleheads. It does not represent a separate gameplay tier.
BULKHEAD says the Supporter Pack is the only additional monetization planned during Early Access and that it will not directly sell in-game cash, gold bars or additional camos during that period.
